Magical Bath.
This is one of my favorite gifts to give to someone I love or even to myself when I need more self care! It’s a Luxurious Bath. This is not like your ordinary bath... This is an experience! I shared a video on my Instagram Here. I’ve done this a few times for my Mom to surprise her and she absolutely loves so I just know your loved one will too. This gift isn’t just for ladies either. Don’t forget the men in your life who enjoy relaxation too!
First step is to gather all the items you need. I like to cater it to the person I’m doing it for so think of their favorite colors, drinks and snacks. The key player in this bath is the tray that goes all the way across the bath. I use an old farmhouse window I found that works perfectly for our tray! Be sure to measure your bath so you get the proper size. Then you add in some candles, skin care, bath salts, crystals, snacks and a drink on the side of their dominant hand. For the drink you can do tea in a teacup, sparkling cider in a fancy glass or any drink you know they love. For the snacks, you can make it nutritious with fruit on a board or even some plant based cheese with crackers and fruit or any of their favorite snacks. Check out my compassionate charcuterie boards for inspiration. I always include lemon water to keep them hydrated since baths can be detoxifying. If it’s a sturdy enough tray, you can even put a book or iPad/tablet so they can read or watch one of their favorite shows or movies. When I first did it for my Mom, I had the dodger game on for her and she loved it! Please do be careful with any electronics around water. The last step, and I wouldn’t skip this one because it’s what adds the final touch is flowers and greenery. Trader Joe’s is my go to because the flowers are reasonably priced and they always have beautiful flowers and eucalyptus. Place the flowers and greenery first so everything else is nice and fresh when they come in. What’s wonderful about this gift is it’s an experience along with a few gifts within it they can use in the future too! So it’s like presenting all the little gifts within an experience. I still remember when I surprised my Mom and she kept getting surprised over and over because she saw the bath first which is such a beautiful display and then as she was looking around she kept getting more excited as she saw new slippers, a robe, new skincare, crystals and more. Have the water running as they walk in with everything lit and ready to go. It’s truly magical and a beautiful, thoughtful gift.
